I’m a bit late with this one, but Premium News Themes has evolved to WooThemes a few days ago. The team now consists of Adii, Magnus Jepson, Mark Forrester, and the new addition, Elliot Jay Stocks.
The name was changed to WooThemes, because with the old name, they were somewhat limited to releasing only news themes. However, with the new name, they’ll be able to explore other areas. In the next few months, we’ll see how creative they will get! (:
Along with the launch, two brand new themes have been released:
- VibrantCMS by Adii – Check out the scroller on the frontpage!
- ProudFolio by Elliot Jay Stocks – Not just a portfolio and not just a blog. This theme is a combination of both!
One last note, a new subscription-based club membership system has been established for all WooThemes customers. The system has been inspired by RocketTheme: once you become a member, you get access to all of the current and future themes!

Thanks for the post bud… Better late than never! :P
I reviewed all of the themes available and they look great. They will allow a much more professional looking blog and have a clean, crisp appeal. I am wondering about the membership. It would seem that this would only be advantageous for an individual or company with multiple blogs (or web designers as you point out). Or, am I missing something?
Thanks for introducing these to me!
